Installation
The most popular installation type for aluminum entrance mats is recessed floor installation.
- Prior to installation, take accurate measurements of the mat according to the recess, with an allowance error of ±2mm. The recommended recessed depth for ALU 1044 is 10mm (±2mm).
- Before installation begins, ensure the surface is relatively flat, smooth, and level.
- Thoroughly clean the installation area, removing any sharp objects, dirt, and dust.
- Clean the floor surface to remove all dirt and debris.
- Locate and mark the final location where the mat will be placed.
- Assemble the frame structure.
- Unroll the mat into the recess of the frames.
Maintenance
The performance of entrance mats is dependent how well it is maintained.Aluminium mat should be regularly cleaned and maintained to ensure the effective performance, as well as ensuring a long life span for the product. A planned maintenance programme should be developed in relation to the amount of traffice passing over the entrance mats.
